Picture Composition Competition

‘An Artist’s Impression’, a picture composition competition, was held for the students of Semester I by the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities on 26th February 2021 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. 

Students were provided with a picture based on city life in their class whatsapp groups, they had to use their imagination and create a story based on the image in 100-150 words and email it. Seventy five students took part in the activity and submitted their stories. Out of all the entries received, following students emerged winners from each section:

  1. Section A: Rimzim Janwe, Sayali Bhagwatkat
  2. Section B: Laxmi Thakre, Pooja Rahangdale
  3. Section C: Siddharth Supekar, Shawna Haldar
  4. Section D: Siddhartha Dahekar, Sakshi Nirmal
  5. Section E: Rutuja Hande, Prachi Adyalkar
  6. Section F: Shreya Pise, Abhay Shukla
  7. Section G: Yash Kalamkar, Arya Babhulakar

The event was coordinated by the Humanities team comprising of Prof. Sonia Francis, Prof. Vasudha Patil, Prof. Nikhil Raj and Dr. Ashish Bodhaye, Co & Extra-curricular Coordinator.
